Tonight we did a flatbread featuring heirloom tomatoes, basil, feta, garlic (onions & sausage;) drizzled with a balsamic glaze… Heirloom tomatoes offer many beneficial nutrients. Containing high amounts of vitamin C, an antioxidant that supports immune function. They also offer Vitamin A for vision and skin health, and Vitamin K for blood clotting. Vibrant colors indicate various antioxidants and phytonutrients. Orange varieties, for example, are rich in lycopene and beta-carotene, powerful antioxidants that protect cells from damage.

This concept of therapy is not only for our mind & heart, priority must be give to our physical self also. When we provide our body the nutrients needed to maintain optimal performance, our quest can become more manageable.
