Thincrust Therapy Thursday

Tonight’s dinner is a BBQ Chicken Flatbread with red onions & garlic scapes. For those unaware a scape is the green garlic plant, that grows from the bulb. It is a milder & more easily digested form of the garlic clove. This delicious & easy meal is a great way to use up leftover chicken & the last of that bbq sauce taking space in fridge door ;)

An alternative use of the word “chicken” in our society often refers to someone fearful or lacking confidence in themselves, in thoughts or action. What is confidence exactly? Confidence is a personal belief in your own ability to succeed.

Like most psychological constructs, confidence is made up of and influenced by a myriad of factors, including: life experiences, achievements, physical and mental health, stress and quality of relationships…

Ideally, in order to be confident you should be in good mental & physical health, as well as have a positive outlook on life experiences. Breaking cycles of past, by learning in gratitude of the negative in order to shift into the positive. A confident person should generally be surrounded by people who build up instead of those who knock down. Life shouldn’t be too stressful, always remembering to honor your inner child with fun!

This week will close with a quote to carry on your journey… “The inner critic is the archenemy of confidence.” May we conquer our archenemy & let confidence be our super power as we move forward in love, light, & peace ✨
