Toxic Tuesday
Sometimes life can feel downright overwhelming. For all sorts of reasons. Maybe too many frayed relationships or too many tasks that need completed or maybe simply too many thoughts in our mind. It’s important that we take time to remember to focus energy on the ones we can control.
Your internal energy is critical, so be observant of how you use it. Spending time (energy) on the things that are out of control is a negative impact to our wellbeing. When becoming overwhelmed it is easy to expel all of our energy, focusing on the wrong thing. Sometimes we can even exhaust ourselves thinking about too many things at once and can be hard to realize when you’re in a cycle of negative thoughts. Some ideas for trying to break the cycle are to ask a few simple questions.
Does this bring me joy?
Is this stress I am willing to take on?
Is this for my highest good?
Learning to accept that we have to detach from some things is a way we can protect our energy. Learn to look at and accept the things that might make you feel uncomfortable and how these feelings play into our personal happiness and productivity. Keep reflecting in loving light, fellow journeyers, and keep toxicity at bay✨
